Cailina rushed to her father, yet her arms failed to reach him. Her gaze followed his body as he fell onto the ground. The surroundings remained still as she attempted to wake her father. 

She has yet to learn from her father. Doubts that she locked in her heart broke from their bonds. She feared that she wouldn't perform the responsibilities that her father would leave behind.

Her eyes glistened with tears. She couldn't afford to lose her father.

The Nobles stood still as everything happened before their eyes. Terrified of the man that successfully hurt the Imperial Duke.

Edward watched the favored one as she pitifully cried for her father to come back. He covered his mouth as a stray smile tugged his lips.

Lai hurried beside her and tore her away from the Duke. He couldn't suffer to see the Lady displaying her weakness for all Nobles to exploit later on.
