Kapitel 92: We meet again part 2

HERO

She was smiling, that faint smile of hers which could mean a thousand things all at once. A soft wind was blowing, making her hair dance as Avalyn carefully walked away from Hero.

"No," he silently begged, reaching out. "Please, don't go."

"Goodbye, Hero." Helplessly watching the scene unfold before him, Hero was left to watch as she slowly disappeared from his sight.

A sharp jolt seemed to have shot through his heart, making him gasp as his eyes snapped open, waking him up from the strange dream of Ava leaving.

Instantly regretting being awakened, Hero shut his eyes closed, the nagging pain inside his head making him forget about the dream. The aftermath of his drinking session from last night immediately hit him hard.

He was busy trying to drown out the pain that it was only then that the unfamiliar scent hanging around the room registered through his nose which instantly made him snap his eyes open once more.
