Kapitel 80: Vegas Baby

"Go play blackjack!"

At this moment the waitress comes by with our food and mimosas. Dillon sets the salmon down for Pickles while I practically drool over how beautiful the food is. Even Pickles' food looks delicious. She starts to dig in while we continue our conversation.

"I'm down. I think there's a casino about an hour away."

"I'm thinking Vegas baby!"

"It's your day you call the shots but who's going to watch Pickles?"

"I'm sure my parents would love to see their grandchild."

"Let's finish up this food and then we can call them."

Taking our time, we savor every bite. When we're done Pickles is licking her plate clean. The way that hollandaise tasted, I almost wish I could do the same. Almost … Dillon gets up to go to the bathroom, and I realize this is my chance to pay the bill before he can. After a few minutes pass, I see the waitress nearby and I signal that I want to speak to her.
