Kapitel 62: Ben's Sister.

Immediately after Zach dropped them off and left, Bella went straight to the kitchen to drop the grocery bag off before heading to her bedroom to change out of the suit and shoes she had worn to work. 

When she was done, she returned to the kitchen and started chopping the vegetables she was to use for the cole slaw. She didn't really like cooking much, but she was willing to do this today as a means of apologizing to him and making peace with him. She couldn't banter with him until she had officially apologized to him and was sure he was no longer upset. 

"What are you making?" Dan asked as he joined her in the kitchen a few minutes later as she was placing the chicken in the oven. He had disappeared into his room the moment they got home, and she had thought he wasn't going to come out until his friends arrived.
