Kapitel 60: LX. The Place Where it all Started.

The same burned, destroyed walls, debris on the ground, dust, spiderwebs, and the skeletons of the furniture that burned right inside there. They reached the section between the living room and the dining room.

"Hmmm... Look, Rowie." She signaled the farthest corner. A wooden, robust table rested on it.

"What's it, Vanilla?" The pup tilted his head.

"That table. When we were here we pulled it back to reveal a trapdoor. It's in the same place we found it. Someone put it back in place."

"But, who? maybe it was the workers or the police..."

"I don't think so. Everything else is untouched. The police would have kept exposed the trapdoor to investigate more. And they would have clearly cleaned the place, but for some reason, they didn't bother investigating this too much. Maybe the structure is too unstable for people to be inside."

"So, someone moved it back?"
