Kapitel 20: XX. Battle for Life and Death.

Vanilla and Cookie stopped screaming behind their boulders at the edge of the balcony. Vanilla used the aquamarine to temporarily halt the burning pain on her naked back.

The night outside dazzled blue for a second, and the giant eagle and the bumblebee glided their way down to the cave. The beast of the flower head and carven faces dashed back as the giant eagle joined the bear in his battle.

"Vanilla!" Rowie approached the girls. His owner was shooting lightning with the Avrevm Bacvlvm at the disconcerted harpies, flying from one side to another.

"Keep close, Rowie!" She yelled.

The children, freed from the harpies' claws ran away between the confusion, climbing the cornices above and trying to get safe between the boulders and rocks on them.

Sasha smashed his bat against an incoming harpy's head. The monster fell and shrieked on the floor. He crouched and sprinted to their position.
