Stephanie thought, her gaze fixated on the lady's outstretched hand.

"Like you said that was in the past and luckily I managed to tame him and that dislike of his for beautiful women, isn't that great Miss Jacky?" Stephanie said as she shakes Jacky's hand. The first thing on her body that caught Jacky's attention apart from her beautiful face was the glittering diamond ring around her finger.

Jacky took her gaze off the ring before anyone could notice but unfortunately for her, Stephanie saw that hateful look on her face when she was glancing at the engagement ring.

"Does that mean all the pretty ladies can flirt with him without having to worry about either their hands getting cut off or their faces getting disfigured?" Jacky said smiling. Stephanie's neutral expression turned to a frown when she heard the lady's words.
