"Do you think they know about us?" Abba asked and Grigory shook his head. "There isn't any way. We checked out the surroundings before entering the city, remember? We made sure that there weren't any sort of trackers or transmitters or even hidden cameras that can spot us. That's how careful we were. How on earth would they have figured us out?"

Lin placed his hand on his chin, as he fell deep into thought. As Grigory said, they had thoroughly checked their surroundings before entering the city. They had confirmed that it was absolutely safe. But if that was the case, then what were the soldiers looking for? Was it just a coincidence? A case of bad timing? Being at the wrong place at the wrong time?

He thought for a while, but in the end, he couldn't figure it out. He heaved a sigh, and shook his head before speaking, "For now, let's just find a place to hide. We'll think about the problem after we figure out a solution for this issue."
