Lin ate the awful dinner that he had been served, and thought about what he had learned from old man Harold.
He still had a lot of unanswered questions, but it seemed like they all had to wait. The rest of the townsfolk seemed to be distancing themselves from him, so he couldn't get anything out of them. But he was sure that the giant sword that fell from the sky had something to do with everything. And it may also be the reason why Yani was interested in this town.
"Alright then," Lin said to himself as he finished up his dinner.
"Time to see this sword."
Except it wasn't time. At least not yet.
If Lin had known that he would've jinxed himself with that statement, he would've never said it in the first place.
