He was fine with flustered people. He didn't have anything against them. But when it comes to work, he preferred the serious and calm ones as opposed to handling the ever-changing expressions of someone like Jessica. But then again, that just came down to preference. He just felt more comfortable to work with Eric.

He knew that it was just his initial impression of her. But then again, when it comes to his employees, retirement generally came early. So he wasn't hoping for a long term subordinate who'd have ample time to adjust to the situation.

As he was browsing through the documents, the smartphone in his hands suddenly started ringing. 

'I am getting a lot of calls today,' he thought to himself as he took out his phone from his pocket. However, when he looked at the screen, Lin couldn't help but widen his eyes in surprise, as his lips slowly formed a bitter smile.
