It was already almost 5 am when Curt arrived at his small apartment. The whole night of fighting and the situation he just experienced made him thought of a very important aspect, he needed a portable bag big enough to carry most of his stuff.
When he lost his clothes and was running naked in that forest in the middle of the night, he thought of the time when he was in the other world and has those convenient storage spaces. With his knowledge in writing glyphs and runes, he is able to make one. However, the material he needed to make one seems impossible to find in this world.
According to his knowledge, if he needed large storage space, he needs a space stone, which is very rare on any planet and can only be found in space. A space stone can hold a large space. However, he could not remember seeing that kind of stone in this world after searching the internet.
However, even without a space stone, there is still another way. In the other world, most could not find a space stone, so instead of using a space stone, they use earth crystals. As his train of thoughts moves through the crystals that he knew from this world, Curt then thought of the hardest crystal which many are viewing as just a beautiful ornamental piece.
But in truth, this earth crystal which is considered as the hardest material in the world, the diamond, has another use. If crafted properly, it could be turned into a viable material to use as a replacement for a space stone. However, it's space is not that large. Plus, he didn't need those that have been polished already, what he needed is a raw diamond. That way the natural energy inside of it is still present.
As he thinks of this, he immediately grabs his phone from inside a drawer and began searching the net for where to buy such a thing.
To his disappointment, he saw that in this country there are no raw diamonds. Plus it cost a lot of money to buy one from other countries. This made Curt feel a bit dejected. His goal in making a space storage bag seems to suddenly go up in smoke. But of course, he could not give up yet.
"Let's try those already cut diamonds, maybe there is a way to use them." He thought.
While thinking he suddenly noticed on his phone a piece of striking news suddenly appears.
"The hero of the city…" he read the headline.
He then continues reading and saw the picture of the woman whom he helped that night. The woman still wore her office uniform even that late at night while helping the soldiers and the other espers. Thinking up to this point, Curt thought that the woman is already an esper, why would she still need to work that hard?
As he continues reading he learned that the woman is a single parent. Her husband died in an accident a few years back outside the city as the transport vehicle he was on was attacked by some beast. To save the other passengers, he had sacrificed himself.
The news highlighted the heroic deeds of her husband which seem to show that they both are heroes in their own rights.
As he reads the news, he discovers that the woman is still unconscious in the hospital.
Curt was a bit astonished at the speed this world can get news. The incident happened late at night, and it's only around 5:30 am, and the news is already up. This made him a bit astounded.

He didn't think of anything else that morning and just get ready to go to work at the store. He didn't get that many materials that night and only harvested the most common on his way back. Hence he decided to just make a new product which is commonly used by most people. And this idea just pops out of his mind while thinking of ways on how to produce new products which would not be in conflict with the current laws of the city.
As he arrives at the shop, he saw his boss already up and has the shop opened. There are many customers already buying some of the products inside the shop. When they saw the young man carrying a large bag, they already knew who he was and some people immediately greeted him.
Upon entering the shop, Curt greeted his two bosses and immediately went inside the backroom.
3 hours later…
Curt came out of the room carrying 2 large jars filled with tiny black granules and the other one is a mixture of some dried herbal thingy.
When Boss Lan saw the two jars, he was puzzled at first. However, upon realizing what they look like, his eyes suddenly lighten up.
"These things… are they what I think they are?" Boss Lan asked with a wide smile.
"Coffee and tea, right?" he added.
With a nod of his head, Curt confirmed that his conjecture is correct.
This made the couple a bit surprised yet expectant. However, they still didn't know what the effect of these things, so they waited for Curt to explain.
"These two, coffee and tea, have some great effect on the body. Let me explain… the coffee is actually a combination of herbal essences in a single granule. The dosage is 1 teaspoon to 8 oz of water. Once the granule touches the water, it would immediately turn into liquid. And this coffee has two effects, first, it could replenish one's energy like an energy drink and the second is very important. It would clean one's body of any impurities… which means once you drink a cup after 5 minutes you would excrete all the toxic inside your body. Hence it is advisable to drink it in the morning." Shin Jiao explained.
"The tea has the same dosage as the coffee. But its effect is for the revitalization of one's skin. This means as you continuously drink the tea; your skin would become younger and younger…" Curt explained while looking at the wife of his boss which suddenly showed a glowing look on her face.
"But the thing is, although you can drink this any time and no matter what dosage, however, the effect is only once a day. So no matter how much you drink, it would only have that once a day effect. But of course, the vitamins and minerals in each granule would still give that person a healthy body." Curt added with a smile.
Suddenly a thought immediately came to Boss Lan's mind. Then he approached Curt and grabs the two large jars.
"Hehe… let me take care of it. My plan is to repack this thing into small sachets. One sachet is enough for one use, right?" he whispered at Curt with a smile.
With those words, the two immediately went to work as they walked to the back room with the two jars. Curt can even see money signs on his Boss's eyes.
Those people who heard the words from Curt and is a regular customer of the store, showed excitement in their eyes. They already knew the effectiveness of the products of this small store. They wanted to ask but kept their silence. They knew that sooner or later, they would still be able to buy those things.
That morning, Curt busied himself in the store as he served many customers and would sometimes create personalized stone carvings. His customers for this are mostly students who wanted for him to carve the images of their idols and sometimes their crush in school.
This simple process actually helps him become more proficient with his technique in carving.
At noon, Curt is having lunch with an employee. He had noticed that for some time now, this girl would always eat with him at lunch and would usually talk to him. He knew that the young woman is showing him that she likes him. However, he could not reciprocate that feeling of hers as his heart is already taken. So he didn't show anything and would just politely reply to the young woman every now and then.
Suddenly, his phone rang and the caller is someone he knew. He immediately picks up the phone and walks outside of the store.
"Doctor Gale, you've called…"
'Ah, Curt… Sigh… Do... Do you have time right now? We have a small problem at the hospital.' Doctor Gale said in his voice Curt can hear a bit of reluctance.
"… What kind of problem?..." Curt asked feeling a little confused.
Why would Doctor Gale call him if it's just a little problem? As a doctor, can't he just take care of it on his own?
'I can't tell you on the phone. Can you come to the hospital, now?'
"Hmm… Alright, I will have to ask for permission from my boss first."
'Alright see you at my office then. Bye…'
With that, the call got cut off, but Curt still shows confusion in his eyes. However, since it is Doctor Gale and it's a problem in the hospital, there might be a need for him to help someone. He still needs to practice more of his medical techniques, so he can grab this chance to enhance his skills.
"I need to go first…" he said to the female employee after going back to the store, and she just nodded her head.
As he turns around and left, she pouted and showed an annoyed expression. But her gaze lingers on Curt's back.

2 pm. Provincial hospital secret ward
Underneath the provincial hospital, there is a special ward that only caters to esper patients. The government has built this underground facility to accommodate the VIPs and the espers.
The advanced medical technology used in this facility is far greater than that in normal hospitals and even the private ones. The government has spent a lot of money on this facility just to make sure that the espers would not face any danger and their lives could be saved in case they face troublesome issues while fighting in the outside world.
In a large area of the emergency room of the facility, ten espers lays on the bed while being treated. With different wounds on their bodies, the doctors and nurses inside the facility busied themselves treating the patients.
One of the doctors who are currently busy checking the patients is Doctor Agnes Lim. She is the friend of Doctor Vince Gale and is considered as a tyrant doctor in the hospital.
She is currently checking the vitals of a woman lying in bed. Behind Doctor Agnes, is a group of espers who came with the woman. They have a look of worry in their eyes as they look at the unconscious member of their group.
"How is she, doctor? Will she be alright?" asked a tall man wearing a black leather jacket.
"Well, according to the vital readings everything is fine. Even our esper experts told me that she just lost a lot of energy, that's why she is still unconscious. You don't have to worry too much." Doctor Agnes said.
"Thank you, doctor."
"I guess you guys were the heroes of the eastern gates, right?" Doctor Agnes casually asked while reading the chart.
Hearing her words, the group showed a sheepish smile on their faces. In their minds, they remember that weird-looking guy, that hidden expert. If not for him, how could they close that barrier? However, they could not find him anymore just after the barrier was sealed.
When Doctor Agnes asked that question a couple of people suddenly turned their attention towards the group.
