Kapitel 61: The Awakening
<Eric Jarl POV>
Looking at my tired girlfriend, how was smiling while hugging me, made me realize why I want to create a place safe? A place where people will be able to live like before the end of the world. Or at least close to what it was before the zombies to appear.
Thinking about all of the things I have done and will most likely continue to do, I didn't notice, how my girlfriend was slowly opening her eyes.
<Beth POV>
I can't believe that we have done it. Maggie told me that it will hurt, but it didn't seem to be the case to me. It hurt at first, but immediately the pain was replaced by pleasure and before I could think about it, I was already lost on the path of pleasure.
I slowly moved my head to look at the boy, how made me feel all of these emotions. The boy that saved my life, the boy how loves me, the boy how searched for me for weeks or even months, the boy how almost broke down because he thought that I died, the boy that I love.
Looking at his face, I could see that he was lost in his thoughts, a thing of his that I noticed every time he plans something or wants to do something. He was cute with his confused face and while I didn't particularly dislike his confused face, I still prefer the usual expression he has when we are just the two of us.
Without waiting for another second, I forced my tired body to rise up so that I can kiss him, hopefully waking him up from his thoughts. While I still was tired and a little sore, I managed to drag my body close to his face and I put my lips on his cheek.
For a second I thought that he didn't felt the kiss on his cheek, but before I could think or do something, he turned his head to me. I could see the love he felt for me in his eyes. Eric didn't even think for a second, as he kissed me as soon as he turned his eyes.
We continue to kiss until a cough caught our attention.
My first instinct was to panic. I didn't know, who entered the room, but one thing was clear, Eric was naked while I in my white dress, and on the bed, you could clearly see some blood stains from our first session.
Eric, on the other hand, his whole body froze in place while blankly starring at the door. I gather up all of the guts and courage I had in me and raised my head towards the door, only to see a smiling Maggie and a somehow confused Glenn.
Before I could say anything, Maggie walked up to me and hugged me while giving Eric a meeting with her hand in the form of a slap.
<Eric Jarl POV>
I froze the moment I saw Maggie and Glenn. MY body didn't respond to anything I tried to do and the only thing I could was to see and hear them. I saw Maggie smiling while walking towards Beth, but I didn't imagine that she would slap me so hard that my whole system rebooted back to factory settings.
I blinked at her, surprised by the sudden slap, but before I could argue, Beth starts laughing at my misfortune. Seeing her like this, forced me to shut up and plan my revenge on Maggie when Beth won't be around.
While I was planning my malefic revenge plan, Maggie opens her mouth.
"Congrats, I think. I don't really know what to say in this situation. I just hope that you are happy."
Beth didn't expect these words from her sister. She thought that Maggie would yell at them and even start a fight with Eric, but not even in a million years she thought that Maggie would support her decision. Beth hugged Maggie while crying from how happy she was at this moment.
When she saw her sister hugging her while crying, I could swear that I heard a shotgun in the background is loaded. Thankfully before something bad could have happened, Beth spoke.
"It's not that sis. I am happy that you accept my decision and that you support me. Please don't fight with Eric, he isn't innocent, but he at least didn't forced or hurt me."
Maggie and Beth turned to look at me and I had no choice, but to plead guilty.
"I plead guilty, your highness, I beg you to let me leave, you can punish me, but don't take my life. I have a family to protect and take care of." I said while giving them a smirk which earned me a laugh from Glenn and a glare from Maggie, while my lovely bunny joined Glenn and laugh in her embarrassment.
I turned my head towards Glenn and nodded. He didn't even have to ask me before he drags Maggie from Beth and left. Bro code for the win.
I quickly gather my clothes and dressed myself, kiss Beth on the lips, and told her to see me after she talks with her sister.
By the time I exit the room, Glenn was barely resisting the berserk Maggie. When she saw me leaving the room, she broke free and enter the room, leaving the two of us(Me and Gleen ) outside.
"Thank bro, you saved me there."
"You are welcome. I can understand you and I didn't want to see you naked either."
"What do say about a beer?"
"Aren't you quite young for that?"
"Does it really matter anymore?"
"I don't think so, but it's better to drink something nonalcoholic. We can't be sure when a horde or a hive creature will attack us."
"Hive creature? What's that?"
"That's the creature Alexander and his team killed. The big guy that we saw in the distance."
"As much as I want to deny your words, you are completely right. A glass of water will have to do."
