Kapitel 259: Monster lurking in the shadows

The drive to the home was eerily silent. Devin turned on the music to ease the atmosphere, but in the next second, Leena turned it off. Laughing to himself, he focused on driving. Not every time, he gets the chance to see Leena's angry bird face. At last, he succeeded in his mission. Upon reaching home, Leena shot out of the car before Devin comes to open the door.

Wordlessly, Devin also stepped out of the car and followed her behind. ''I am sorry, Leena.'' Devin apologized, but it was no use. Leena stomped into the bathroom and shut the door not before throwing a deathly glare at him. 

''Let me see if you keep your stance if I get your favorite drink.'' He strolled out of the room, thinking of a way to suppress her anger.
