He snorted. "Of course."

"She had hearts in her eyes when she looked at you on stage." I said.

Lucas frowned. "Who?"

"You know… That girl earlier." I snickered.

Lucas snorted again. "Hmph. I clearly stated that I won't give myself as gratitude. Even if the Li family did donate a valuable jewel in tonight's auction, I definitely wouldn't."

"Oh? They donated?"

"A rare jewel. It's one of the heirlooms of the Li's."

"Huh. Then why did they donate that?"

"Who knows." Lucas shrugged. "I also had my suspicions and had it appraised. Result was, it's definitely real. Worth millions in USD."

"Hmmm…" I paused to think.

The Li's are definitely up to something.

"But I was serious when I said that little girl had hearts in her eyes." I diverted the topic back to that again.

"I already announced that I definitely have no intentions on entertaining personal interests in me."
