Y/N's POV
I get to Santa Monica Pier around 1 and was mostly walking around until Scarlett could get here. Knowing her, she would be here early.
"Y/N!!" a voice calls.
I turn and see Scarlett making her way towards me.
'Knew it.' I think.
I meet her halfway and see that she was going to hug me, but she stopped herself. I roll my eyes at that and pull her into a hug. She relaxes and hugs back.
"I'm sorry about everything that happened," Scarlett tells.
"I'm still angry at you for that, but I'm willing to listen if you're ready to tell," I tell.
"I'll tell you everything," she tells.
We started walking through the pier talking, laughing, and playing some of the games there as we talked.
"So your manager wanted you to do all of this just to boost your already high standing?" I ask.
"That and he wanted Hailee and me to get back together because we were pretty much a power couple," Scarlett tells.
"Hmph. She wishes." I say.
Scarlett chuckles at that and we stop to get something to eat. As we sit on the bench, we started people watching and making up scenarios of their everyday lives. It was starting to get dark after a while of messing around on the boardwalk and poking fun at the paparazzo that was following us. We made a bunch of his photos blurry and unrecognizable for anyone to look at. We ended up going atop the Ferris Wheel as the sun sets in the distance.
"Scarlett," I say.
"Yes, Y/N?" she asks.
"Do you remember our wedding day? You had to wear a dress since your tux wasn't ready." I tell.
"T-they said it would take days since they made a stain on it. How did you?" Scarlett starts.
"You were angry at the reception too. My ex showed up and tried to take me away from you, but the guards escorted her out. Well before you punched her in the face." I tell.
"The bitch had it coming," Scarlett grumbles.
"Mi estrella brillante, do you know who I am?" I ask.
"Yes. Your mi pierdra preciosa." she tells.
She pulls me into a hug and we cry to each other, glad to know that we were together again.
"I can't believe I couldn't remember you." I cry.
"I'm just glad that your here. So glad." Scarlett cries.
We stay in each other's arms for the rest of the ride, until we had to get off. We wipe our eyes off, thankful for waterproof makeup, and move to her car. Scarlett drives to her house and we don't come out till early that next morning.
The Next Morning
We lay around most of the morning, sharing kisses and caresses here and there, just basking in each other's presence.
"Where is my little Rose?" I ask.
"Jeremy has her. When I texted him that you had your memories back, he told me he would take Rose to his and leave us to catch up." Scarlett tells, kissing my forehead.
"I'm glad," I say.
We lay down for a little while longer until I hear my phone ring. I sigh as I get up to grab my phone when Scarlett lets out a groan herself as her phone rings.
"Had to go out into reality at some point," I tell.
I look at my phone and see that the news has buzzed about our reunion already.
"Seems like paparazzi had gotten usable pictures of us to post," I tell.
"It seems like it," Scarlett tells.
"I think we should tell everyone that I remember, so your money didn't go to waste," I tell.
"Money doesn't matter to me. I have you and Rose. That's what matters to me." Scarlett tells.
I kiss her cheek and move to get the clothes that we haphazardly threw around the night before. As we put them on, I texted Emma that we were going to pick up Rose and have everyone know that I remembered everything.
"Hold on, are we still married?" I ask.
"We are still happily married. I just had the records sealed so it showed that you were single." Scarlett tells.
"You set all the bases didn't you?" I ask.
"I didn't want to lose you even further from me. I had to make sure that you wouldn't run from something very familiar that you couldn't remember. I didn't want to make you relapse again." Scarlett tells.
I smile softly at her and kiss her cheek.
"I love you," I say.
"I love you too," she says.
"Come on. Let's go and get our daughter." I tell, pulling her to the door.
We move out of our bedroom and out of the house. Scarlett drove towards Jeremy's house with his wife, Megan, who if I didn't remember anything, would never have guessed that he married her. We pull up into the driveway and get out of the car, walking towards the door. We knock on the door and Megan answers, smiling at us.
"Hey girls. I'm guessing your back together again." Megan tells.
"Yes. Happily married too." I tell, smiling.
Megan looked at us, gasped at that, and then started squealing. She pulled us into a hug and then pulled back, looking angry.
"I can't believe Jerbear didn't tell me!!" Megan says.
She shakes her head and lets us come inside. She leads us into the living room, where Jeremy and Rose were playing. We stood there and watched them for a little while until I couldn't hold back anymore.
"Rose," I say.
She looks over to me and gasps as she sees us.
"Mommy?" she asks.
"It's me, baby," I say.
She gets up and runs to me as I bend down to hug her.
"I missed you so much, mi pequeño oso," I say.
"I missed you too mommy. Can we stay here for dinner? Auntie Megan promised she would make spaghetti." Rose asks.
I chuckle at that shake my head.
"Just like your mother. Always thinking with her stomach." I say.
"We do like food," Scarlett says.
I shake my head at her and turn back to Rose.
"Yes, we can stay for dinner," I tell.
"Yay!! Thank you, mommy. Can I go back to play?" she asks.
"You can, but after dinner, we're going home. I want to spend all of tomorrow with my favorite daughter." I tell, tickling her.
"Mommy!! I'm your only daughter!!" Rose giggles, trying to push my hands away.
"That's why you are my favorite," I tell.
I push her gently to go and play while we go to start dinner. While cooking, I look outside the sliding doors and see the sun setting.
"Rose!! The sun is setting!!" I call.
She rushes over to the sliding door, all of us telling her to walk, knowing she won't listen. She watches from the door until I was finished with the garlic bread and wiped my hands clean and went outside with her to watch. We sat in the grass as the others eventually came out to watch with us. Scarlett sits in the grass with us and wraps her arms around both of us. I lean against her as we watched the sunset and sighed, basking in the rays of the sunset and the love that I felt for my family.
I was finally home.
