Mina watched her fiancé become stiff with her words, keeping his eyes on the road as he drove. She could tell he was unused to being threatened in that manner, but she was making a promise, so it was different. She chuckled to herself, getting comfortable in her seat before the man reached over, showing the palm of his free hand where she placed hers, interlocking their fingers with a smile.

"Okay," he replied, seeming to have only just found his voice. "But we need to set parameters." Mina laughed loudly, really enjoying the fact that Ian was trying to negotiate the terms of his death by her hands.

"Depends…" she said, feigning nonchalance. "What are they?"

"You can't kill me for hurting you unintentionally, like if I tell you I don't like what you're wearing, or if we disagree about something."

"Fair."

"And you have to be certain I'm guilty. It can't be a guess or a hunch, but your pain has to be based on fact."
