Mina stared between her fiancé and Ren, unsure which of the men to believe. Both insisted that their version of the truth was fact, but she had her doubts. For as long as she had been alive, she valued the sanctity of marriage. It was not something that she would easily play with, but at the same time, Ren claimed that her engagement only became public after Ian's company was audited. That was a red flag for Mina who could not remember where she got the money to start her own business, but when she investigated her records, she found that it was a 'settlement' from the Lee Group that funded her entire corporation. 

"Mina I know you have no reason to trust me, but I wouldn't lie to you about something like this." Mina looked to Ian, hoping that he had an explanation, but the man seemed to be at a loss for words.
