Kapitel 39: No Regrets

Listening to his boss murmuring something, the secretary, Lin Yong spoke, "Boss? Did you say something?"

Ren Weimin moved his eyes away from the window and turned towards the confused Lin Yong in the driver seat, "You said that Xiao Cheng is close to Sun Bingwen's assistant right?"

"Yes Boss. Young Master Mo even disowned his father for her sake. Brother Mo is still sulking about the matter." Remembering the scene when Xiao Cheng 'disowned' his father, Lin Yong chuckled to himself once again.

That scene was still as hilarious as ever for him looking at the sulking Brother Mo. The same ferocious Brother Mo, who was feared by many, was actually sulking at his own son's words. How could it not be hilarious?

Thinking about that even the expressionless Ren Weimin gave a smile. "What is Xiao Cheng doing tomorrow? Did he plan anything?"

"Nothing Boss. He said he would go with the flow." Lin Yong was clearly amused by the adult words that were spoken by the five year old kid. His amusement was clear in his voice when he spoke the words. Which five year old kid would 'go with the flow'?

Listening to his words, Ren Weimin simply nodded his head not surprised or amused by the kid's words as he was used to his ways to behave like an adult already.

"Tell him to come to the set with me. If he refuses, tell him about meeting his favorite sister on the set if he comes." A sly glint flashed across his eyes as the idea danced in his brain.

"Okay Boss. Young Master Mo would surely be excited if he knew that he would meet Miss Rong tomorrow. He tried to protect her from Brother Mo that day too. It is sure that he would love to meet her again."

At Lin Yong's words Ren Weimin smirked a little. 'When did she need protection from a little kid? That too against Brother Mo? He would be finished if she just complained about it to his wife. He would be cleaned up in a second.'

At this thought he suddenly wants to see how she would clean him up when she learns that her husband tried to scare Shao Rong.

But the smile that was about to appear disappeared as he remembered that Shao Rong was yet to know the identity of Brother Mo's wife. She did not know about her marriage let alone attend her wedding.

He still remembers how upset she was at her wedding because of the absence of Shao Rong in the event. He consoled her but the result was a glare from her.

She knew that Shao Rong was absent just because of him. He is the reason for them to be separated for all these years.

At her glare all he could do was bow his head with guilt which only made her more sad as she knew that he was more upset because of Shao Rong's absence than herself.

Just to encourage him, she smiled at him and proceeded with the event happily. Later looking at her husband, the strong yet fake smile became more simpler yet brighter.

But he himself missed Shao Rong so much looking at the wedding. It was a wedding that they were supposed to attend together. It was a wedding that they were supposed to enter as a couple. It was a wedding which they should bless together.

It was a wedding where their own kid was supposed to be a flower girl or a flower boy. But now, their kid was already five years old but he and Shao Rong were still in the stage of a pair of strangers.

The atmosphere in the car turned gloomy. Yes, they were still strangers. All the promises they made were broken except their love.

They both still love each other and they both knew the fact but they also knew that their reconciliation is difficult.

'Difficult' is the word that he describes the situation but Shao Rong would instead use the word 'impossible'.

But he would surely convert that impossible into difficult. He would court her more sincerely this time.

Once he was lucky that he did not need to think many ways about courting a girl as he got Shao Rong who never wanted him to court much like other girls.

Others would want a man to court longer and beg and after a long struggle they would give an 'Okay'. But Shao Rong, she was always different from others. She just needed to know that he was sincere and that is it.

Nothing more is required. Just a bit of sincerity and she would double her efforts in the relationship. No words, no complaints, just understanding and most importantly love. That is all she would do.

But this time, he would do everything that they missed the last time. Every right a girl has would belong to her. Every type of counting, coaxing and everything would belong to her. She can say No but he would continue his efforts.

This time, no regrets.
