Kapitel 19: Human Emotions
The next morning, Shao Rong goes to the shooting location with Sun Bingwen and others just like the day before. As soon as they reached their destination, they got off the car to find another car that had just parked in front of theirs.
They saw a man come out of the driver's seat and opened the door for the back seat. The view of long legs made them understand who possessed them immediately. After all, such long legs were possessed by Weimin and only him in their acquaintance.
Soon, their guess was confirmed to be true once Weimin got out of his car with his usual stoic expression.
As soon as she saw his face, Shao Rong realized that meeting Weimin yesterday was not her dream but was reality. She was subconsciously running away from reality.
She averted her eyes as soon as his eyes ran through his surroundings and she moved to stand in front of Sun Bingwen to make Weimin face her back.
Noticing that Sis Xiao and others went inside, Bingwen spoke softly to Shao Rong who was facing him in a hurry, "Sis Rong, is there something you need?"
"Xiao Wen, I guess I would not be joining you guys today to your shoot. I'll go shopping around."
"Oh? Oh! Okay Sis Rong. You can take my car. If you need anything you can just give me a call and I'll be there." Sun Bingwen nodded in understanding and spoke as he handed his car keys to her.
"Yeah. Bye then." Shao Rong took the keys in a hurry while not actually showing her hurry to the people that watched her and got into the driver's seat of the car and looked ahead without starting the car immediately.
Her eyes stayed on the only man about whom she thought for the previous entire night. He was seriously giving a few instructions to his assistant while checking his phone for something.
His eyes lazily swayed in the direction of Shao Rong. Though he couldn't see her through the shield of the car, his eyes stared directly into her eyes which made Shao Rong's heart to beat wildly.
So what if she was a strong woman?
So what if she can fake a few relations?
So what if she can face blood without batting an eyelid?
So what if she can end a life without a care?
Even if she was the most merciless woman in the world, which she definitely is not, in the end she would be a human.
A human, who possesses all the emotions.
A human who fell in love with a person.
A human whose heart aches and beats.
But she is a human to only the people whom she thinks were her own people. She always considered Weimin as her own person even if they did not meet for a decade. Would their love be nulls if they did not meet each other for a long time. Their love is not that cheap. At least that is what she feels.
All these human emotions made her weak enough to be able to meet Weimin face to face today. She needs more time to strengthen her heart and emotions.
No matter how much she wants to avoid him, she couldn't force herself to look at something other than his face. She is afraid he would disappear if she bats an eyelid.
Hence, she did not drive away immediately. Instead, she looked at Weimin and stored all his actions and expressions in her heart where she couldn't delete them forever.
She followed his every action with her eyes until Weimin left her eyesight while going inside followed by his assistant.
As soon as he left her eyesight, she started the engine and left while driving.
Weimin on the other side was conflicted with different emotions too. He understood that his Teddy was trying to avoid him. That made him understand that her meeting him here is totally coincidental and not a planned meeting.
If she had planned to meet him in advance, there is no need for her to avoid him. Instead she would be well prepared to face him which she definitely was not.
A disappointment flashed through his eyes. How many years did he wait to take a glance at her? She on the other side was unwilling to even face him. How could he digest this rejection?
But his heart is filled with warmth when he remembered the eyes that followed him the entire time. How could he not recognize her burning peer?
His Teddy whose eyes always followed him never changed. Her gaze never changed. Her feelings never changed. He could feel all those. How could he not feel happy at her such raw emotions?
His Teddy will always be his no matter if they are together or not. Their hearts are already with the other. A little distance like a decade can never change anything.
He had all the time in the world.
