Stars released Akiol from his area.
After finding himself back in his 'room' Akiol turned himself back into his ball form and immediately rolled over to the Slime King. Perhaps they would know.
Akiol rolled until his was in front of the King, "I require more insight!"
"Again? What is it this time?"
"I have come into contact with a Strand of Existence, though I have no idea what it is."
"A Strand of Existence? I am afraid I have no idea what that is."
"Oh."
"Perhaps you will find the answer upon your journey. Though tell me, what changes have occurred?"
"Just about everything I own is destroyed, Stars was almost included. My skills have been mostly destroyed as well."
"Hmmm, a case of destroying a building to create a better one. Besides the negatives, what else?"
"My senses are far clearer, and my actions seem to have lost this strange restriction that was one hindering them."
"Have you tried anything else?"
"No."
The Slime King shifted slightly, "Try finding what this Strand of Existence can provide you. After all it is pointless to continue working on a War Sight."
"Huh? Wait, why?"
"You don't have one."
"That's a shame."
"Fret not, I am sure this Strand of Existence will provide you with the strength you need to overtake the Trial."
"Alright! Thank you for your help."
"Now go, I must rest."
Akiol rolled out of the room, once the Slime King saw him exit he morphed into his smaller size.
"To come into contact with the String of Existence is quite the feat. . . Though finding answers about it is up to you young one. For no one can provide the answers you seek."
. . .
Akiol submerged himself into his Skill lake. He sighed ruefully upon seeing the reduced spots. Though he did notice the special one remained. Although it was no longer connected to anything.
Akiol considered the choice he was about to make. Considering most of what he acquired over all this time was destroyed, he didn't really care if something else was too.
He reached out and grabbed it, immediately his mind was full of different visions and memories. He was shocked and let go of the spot.
He quickly sorted his thoughts, this was something amazing! The memories and visions he saw were the origins of Aura! This gave him the answers he had been searching for this whole time!
Aura absorbed energy from a catalyst. Though the catalyst could be anything. In [Aura Boost]'s case, it was the stat itself. It took the agility stat as a catalyst to improve it.
Some catalysts were obviously stronger than others. While some weren't even worth being a catalyst. When [Aura Boost] tripled its effect, it simply used the other stat it was boosting as an additional catalyst for agility.
Akiol's mind raced with thoughts, 'How many catalysts could be used?'
He wanted to test it immediately, but first he had to figure out how to use Aura.
Following what he remembered from the visions he used his strength as a catalyst. Slowly a red glow began to leak out. He opened his eyes and examined his strength.
It was a success?
He had managed to strengthen himself with Aura, but the effects were worse than when he used [Aura Boost]. He felt like his strength increased by. . . five percent.
He grew excited, obtaining brilliant results first try wasn't very realistic. Now that he knew what he was doing, he only needed practice.

Tilia and Gerald stood on a hill. Upon spotting a group of people she pointed at them, "Is it them?"
Gerald nodded, "Yes but. . . are you sure you want to take them on? No offense to you but, you're just one person!"
Tilia massaged her shoulders, "When you first saw me in combat I was in terrible condition. That was because I had fought several other monsters before that one. I was exhausted at that point. Now I am in top shape. Besides, I'll give you the same buffs as before, just don't die alright?"
Gerald nodded somewhat timidly, for his experience with the group was still fresh in his mind. He didn't want to fight them again, but he couldn't let his savior fight them alone.
The two walked up to the group. The group looked like a typical bunch of delinquent adventurers. Overly muscled, under geared, overly confident. It was a cookie cutout.
One of the group walked up to Tilia, "Heya girly, what you doing all the way out here-?"
Tilia threw two punches towards the delinquent. They stumbled back from the force and in surprise. Tilia snatched an arm and threw them to the ground. Within a quick motion she pinned them to the ground and held their arm in a precarious situation, "Not in the mood to talk you know?"
"What do you think you're doing-"
Tilia pulled their arm in a direction causing them to yell in pain.
The rest of the group rushed over, "Oi! What do you think you are doing?"
Tilia mumbled something and runes began to cover Gerald. The group spotted him now with the glowing runes, "Oh. . . if it isn't Twin Saber Gerald. Angry? Needed backup from this elf?"
Gerald calmed his nerves, "You have tormented my family enough! I give you this chance to leave us alone!"
The group looked at each other and laughed, "With the two of you? Your overestimating yourselves!"
Gerald pulled out two sabers, "I should say the same to you."
The group flinched upon seeing the sabers, "I thought you swore to never touch one again!"
"My oath shall be broken to punish those who dare threaten my family."
Gerald began to charge forward. As Tilia watched she began to become impressed. The last time she saw Gerald fight he wielded a bow. Yet he was significantly better with the twin sabers. Every step was calculated along with every swing. Like a dancer flowing through the crowd.
Meanwhile Gerald was once again shocked by the effects of Tilia's enchantment. Such a powerful strengthening ability would be immensely popular in the Adventurers Guild.
As Gerald was defeating the members of the group one at a time Tilia knocked out the one under her feet. She stretched, it was significantly easier to take revenge than she initially thought.
She felt a blade touch her neck. The individual behind her shouted, "If you don't want her dead then put down your weapons!"
Gerald looked over and hesitated, "You-!"
Tilia grabbed the hand with the blade and twisted the wielder onto the ground in a single smooth motion. With a quick jerk she dislocated the arm holding the blade.
Gerald was relieved and finished cutting down the remaining of the group.
Tilia cracked her neck, she felt refreshed. Before being found by Gerald's family she had been spending her time getting hit by monsters. It put a damper on her mood. Now that she had easily taken down two without any harm to herself her mood was improved.
Gerald sheathed his two sabers and walked over to Tilia, "Thank you. . . so much. I wasn't sure what to do."
Tilia looked over to the destruction he caused and whistled, "That's quite some destruction, did you kill them?"
"No, even if I broke my oath to never touch a saber, I wouldn't kill with them again."
"They might take revenge you know? It didn't stop them before."
"I am sure my sabers ingrained a valuable lesson in them. Killing is pointless."
"Very well, let's go deliver the news to your family then."
. . .
One of the group members coughed, "Gerald. . . I'll get you for this! You might be strong, but are you strong enough to protect your family?!"

Wrock was shadow fighting, his eyes were closed as he followed through the movements he had done several times before.
His body moved fluidly, each movement made to use the most muscle as possible. Wrock threw a fist as part of his routine.
Bzzt-
He opened his eyes to see a small blue bolt of lightning fade away.
He narrowed his eyes, that was the third time it appeared. The first was when he used [Thundering Impact] against Plantivore. The second was very similar to the third, it appeared whilst he was practicing.
He started over from scratch, redoing the movements as before. He paid a lot of attention towards any changes his body made when the spark appeared.
Bzzt-
Wrock's eyes narrowed, he had a glimpse of it. This strange effect that has been slowly showing itself.
Wrock recalled the feeling and went through the movements again. His fist shot forward and a shower of small blue energy bolts appeared.
Wrock found the bolts odd though, it looked like electricity but it behaved differently. Regardless he found what he was going to progress in. He had a feeling that this was what he needed to grow stronger.
As Wrock closed his eyes and continued practicing he never opened them upon hearing the sparks. It was a shame because if he did he would have noticed what had been bothering him about it.
