At the moment the sword was really close to Green Sage's face, Han's instincts suddenly rang alarm bells in his mind. Although he was so close to winning, Han didn't longer a second longer and abruptly retreated.
*Boom*
"How?" Han stared in shock at his previous position where a shadow currently stood.
Right where Han previously stood, as he advanced to kill Green Sage, was a figure about two metres tall with tendrils sprouting out from its arms and head. The creature had a brown skin colour that looked aged and rough, exactly just like dry wood. It also had thick arms and legs, alongside a sturdy body. What's more, it had a pair of wooden antlers on its head.
It was a tree nymph, or a being commonly known as a driad.
However, what shook Han wasn't the creature itself but the fact that Green Sage had summoned it.
Also, I've identified the readers who decided to grant me a special permission. Thanks for the support. Heads up, I'll be introducing the characters in this arc: The Tournament arc.
