"And you, XueYa," Uncle WeiJie gave XueYa a stink eye as he accepted XueYa's cup of tea. "You will have to serve tea to LiangLin's parents too once you go to Hei'ang. Don't put your parents to shame with your uncultured ways."
LiangLin glanced shyly at XueYa, wondering if XueYa would ever return to Hei'ang with him. He hoped that he could see that day, but XueYa's visage was unreadable under his pleasant smile. It cast a shadow of doubt over LiangLin's hopes.
"When the moment arrives, I will definitely do it."
Uncle WeiJie seemed displeased at the answer, his brows furrowing. He motioned the couple to stand up. "Make LiangLin cry and I will hunt you down, son. You should go on your knees and thank him for marrying you."
"You won't be the first to go after me, uncle WeiJie. There seems to be a line of vicious sisters who want to kill me as is." XueYa said as he helped LiangLin stand up.
