Kapitel 61: Chapter 57 - The Party.

Chapter 57

It was the morning on the day the party will be held. The party will start at 2 pm, so we still have leisure time before going to Sayanomisa's residence.

Right now Natsuki and I having tea time with the special tea made by Maoxing in the living room. Maoxing is standing behind me like a butler.

"Oh right, someone will come in ten minutes to meet you, Izumi," Natsuki said then gently sip the tea.

"Who is it?" I tilted my head and asked.

"It's Yukinoshita Kensuke, a quite big entrepreneur and a member of our organization." Natsuki calmly said.

"Eh? I don't even know who is that. What does he want with me?" I wonderingly asked.

"He is the one who invited Teruo Nezumi to the party," Natsuki answered.

"Hee... he must be coming here to explain about Maoxing and Nezumi's case," I smirked and said. I can't see it but it seems Maoxing also curious about it since even though Yukinoshita wasn't at fault he still has a bit connection for the case.

"Indeed. Yesterday when I have a meeting with the History Compilation Committee, he was there. I casually talked about the case but tell them not to do anything since the guy behind you want to do it himself." Natsuki explained. Looks like she didn't even want to call his name properly.

"Haha... He must be panicked when you talk about it." I laughingly said.

"Yes, when the meeting ends he approached me and begs me to allow him to meet you. I assume you want to see it, so I told him to come here at 9 AM." Natsuki explained.

"Well, what do you think about it, the guy behind me?" I asked with a smirk.

"He is not at fault. But I am indeed curious about it." Maoxing answered.

"That's true. Anyway, you can hear his explanation right away as he was already at the front door." I said as I sensed a presence coming.

Not long after that, the old driver which also a butler escorted a man in his 40s or maybe 50s.

"Ojou-sama, the guest has arrived." The old butler gently opened the door and politely said.

"Thank you, Jii." Natsuki nodded and said. The old butler nodded with a smile then excuse himself.

"Please excuse me for intruding your morning. My name is Yukinoshita Kensuke, a businessman. I came here to apologize and explaining about the case of your highness's chef with Teruo Nezumi." Kensuke bowed his head and respectfully said.

"Nn. In the meantime, just sit there." I nodded and pointed at where Natsuki previously sit. Hearing that Natsuki without asking went and sit beside me.

"Thank you very much." Kensuke politely said and sit on the sofa I pointed. Maoxing serves a cup of tea for him and went back to stand behind me.

"I don't think you are at fault but go ahead explain it," I said with a smile.

"Yes, it's like this. Teruo besides his evil thinking actualy a good consultant. His advice helped me solve a problem once. At that time, I told him a King would come to Tokyo in the summer.

I gave him a chance to meet your highness because I think he has the potential to be a member of our organization. Naturally, I also informed him you didn't need that kind of gift as additional information as Minamiya-sama told us.

But, Teruo only smilingly nodded as if he understands what I mean. Sadly looks like he misinterprets it. For that, I sincerely apologize to Your Highness and the chef, please give me a chance to resolve it." Kensuke explained with a thoughtful expression then bowed his head to apologize.

"As expected, huh. Well, I don't blame you for that, and you don't need to do anything to him. Because it will be resolved at the party later. My chef said he only wanted to make Tetsuo repent in the jail and a bit of curse from me." I said.

"Thank you very much, your highness! Please, if you need something just tell me!" Kensuke bowed his head again and said gratefully.

"Hmmm... Oh, there is one thing I need. If you know a good land for a restaurant with a good price, tell me about it." I said after thinking for a bit.

"A land for a restaurant... I think there is one, but I will need to check it first then I will inform your highness at the party." Kensuke said after thinking for a bit.

"Good, I'm looking forward to that." I smilingly said.

"Please leave it to me!" Kensuke said.

After that Kensuke promptly excuses himself since he wants to check the land as fast as possible. In the meantime, Natsuki and I continue our tea time while casually talking while waiting for the party.

Currently, we're at the front door of the party hall in Sayanomiya's residence. It seems everyone has been waiting for me inside the room. It's not like I am late, but Natsuki said they intentionally waited there first to respect me.

For this occasion, I'm wearing a black tuxedo set while Natsuki just wears her usual gothic lolita outfit and Maoxing wearing butler outfit and mask to conceal his face. He said it was to make Teruo shocked when he sees him in great condition.

When Maoxing opened the door for us, every people in the room stand up from their seat and lowered their heads as I walk to the center of the hall. It made me feels like a mafia boss. Anyway, the hall itself was like a typical high-class party with many small round tables decorated and placed inside.

The party was held as a typical high-class party would be. Until it's time for people to come and greet me. They will take a turn to greet me from the leader to ordinary members and guests.

"Greetings, Kitahara-sama. My name is Sayanomiya Kaoru. I am the next heir of Sayanomiya's Family. I came here to replace my grandfather who is sick currently. Please to meet you." A girl in men's clothing lowered her head and politely introduced herself.

"Greetings from me too, Kitahara-sama. My name is Seishuuin Ran, the current head of Seishuuin's family." An old lady politely introduced herself

"Ou, nice to meet you two. Why did you dress as a man?" I said and asked Kaoru.

"*Chuckled* As expected of a Campione. You instantly see through my disguise." Kaoru said with a pleasant smile.

"Well your face indeed a bit androgynous but your voice was of a girl." I nodded knowingly and said.

"That's true. But even so, many girls fall in love with me." Kaoru jokingly said.

"I can imagine that." I nodded approvingly because I naturally understand what she meant.

"Incidentally, Kitahara-sama. Do you need another assistant?" The old lady asked.

"Hmmm, I don't know. You could ask Natsuki if she needs a helper since she is my assistant." I answered.

"Then if Minamiya-san accepted it, would you accept my granddaughter to be your assistant or bodyguard after she finished her training?" Seishuuin Ran asked with a polite tone.

"Sure thing. I do want to make Natsuki's job easier after all. How about it, Natsuki-chan?" I said and asked Natsuki who silently listening beside me.

"We will talk about this later, Seishuuin-san." Natsuki nodded affirmatively and said.

"Thank you very much." The old lady lowered her head a bit and said.

"It seems the talk concluded, we should talk again sometime, Kitahara-sama. I feel like we can be a good friend. Too bad, people are waiting for their turn." Kaoru said with a smile.

"Oh what a coincidence, I feel like we can be a good friend too. Regardless, if I still in Tokyo you can visit me when I'm not going somewhere." I answered.

After that Kaoru and Seishuuin Ran excuse themselves. The next in the queue seems to be from the last two of the five ancient families, Kuhoutsuka and Renjou.

The first is Kuhoutsuka's Family head, Kuhoutsuka Gin. He is an old man with a fit body for his age. He has an intimidating face but actually a very cheerful person when he talks.

From Renjou their family head come with his grandson. Renjou Kanesigo is the name of the Renjou Family's head. He is also an old man with a fit body and seems to be the rival of Kuhoutsuka Gin when they're young.

Unexpectedly, the grandson he brought is the middle schooler boy I met yesterday. Because I wore a health mask yesterday, he didn't recognize my face but he thought it was me after hearing my voice. Still, because his grandfather was there, he can't greet me casually.

People to people start to greet me when their turn comes. Some just politely greet me, some try to appeal themselves in front of me, etc. But none of them bring any gift since I told them not to at this party.

It was until the last person in the queue come. He is the person who Maoxing waits for, Teruo Nezumi.
