I don't even understand what is happening but I like spending time with Darrien. Everything feels like an adventure. We were supposed to be at the caves. It was supposed to be a typical mating ritual. We are not the first people to experience this but this is the first time anyone has ever escaped from the caves. 

I knew Darrien was different, from the first time I saw him. there is nothing regular about him and that is why I love him so much. The man is his own person, he thinks with his heart. Completely and wholeheartedly. I have never trusted anyone as much as I trust him and I don't think this is a mistake. He places me to my feet in front of the apartment door. He said this is our home. I have never been associated with anyone before. This is the first time I am sharing something so significant with someone else and the fact that it is Darrien is the best feeling ever.
