Kapitel 297: Fly To The River (being rewritten)

[Adrian's POV]

A tensed silence.

They were on their way back to Johan's house. Adrian sat on the passenger's seat of Russell's jeep; the conversation they had was still playing in his mind. It gave rise to a tiny hope that he can have another shot with the man he wanted to be with. But the favor Russell was asking from him also weighed on his lungs like a dying man's request written in fog.

If Russell die, it would break Johan's heart.

"Is there no other way?" Adrian blurted out suddenly, catching the attention of the jeep's driver, whose eyes flickered towards him for a second before going back to the road.

"Don't overthink it too much. It's not like I'm planning to die soon. I still have plenty of plans for Johan."

"Plans?"

"Yeah." Russell threw a smirk at him. "He chose me over you. I've got high expectations to live for."
