Kapitel 12: Tell me the truth
Since it was late after she finished the cake, and Lance accompanied her, Bree took him on her motorbike home. No one at the office knew that Lance lived in the same house with Bree and her family since they were practically a family.
As soon they got in, Bree told Lance:
- Are you up to for a glass of milk?
- How about o cup of ice cream?
- It's passed midnight. Don't you think is to late for ice cream?
- I was joking. Of course, I want a glass of milk. Is there honey and cinnamon?
- Top shelf, cabinet to your left.
- You still remember that I like to drink milk with honey and cinnamon.
- I never forget. You wouldn't let me.
- Bree. Are you really in love with Irene's brother?
- Of course. It's not like I'm in love with myself... One could see a big grin on Bree's face as she said that.
- How can you be sure that you're in love with him?
- Because every time I see him I feel that the whole world stops.
- How did it happen? It's not like he loves you back. I heard that the only thing he likes from you is your food.
- Tell me the truth. Who told you this?
- Your brother.
- What? How did my brother found out? It's not possible.
- Look, Bree. I won't tell you what to do because I know you'll listen to me. That's why I want you to figure out if he really likes you or not. But even if he does or doesn't like you know that I'll be there for you. Even if you'll ruin all of my shirts.
- Thank you, Lance. You do have your moments. Said Bree as she gave him a bear hug not wanting him to see the emotions on her face.
