Kapitel 23: Chapter 23: Bronwyn

Bronwyn barely heard any of the conversation past they were basically stuck here and had no way of contacting anyone. She saw the thing Quinn pulled out of his pocket, the tiny replica of a

ship, and felt her heart lift, until the snarky one who gave her the creeps when he looked at her legs rolled his eyes yet again.

"What's wrong with it?" Bronwyn demanded, taking her cue from the nasty grounder. He was obviously not as thrilled about the whole concept as the filthy little girl who seemed to be doing most of the talking. Speaking of filthy, Bronwyn tried not to think about it. She hated being dirty and was growing more so by the minute as the thick red dust from this hideous planet caked her from head to toe.

The girl gave her a look that spoke volumes. Definitely something wrong with it. "It's our colony ship," she said.

Colony ship? Bronwyn thought. That's not so bad. The Day Wanderer was a colony ship.

Sammel made a low whistle, but Archer's expression didn't change.
