Ismene and Vasu entered the room, and at the sight of Simon, Ismene stopped dead. Her hands flew to cover her mouth.
"Ms. Carme - Mr. Blue," Simon greeted them, his smile and tone of voice both cool and calm. Lysandra couldn't help but wonder if they had put him through resocialization or something before he had left the penitentiary - he seemed like a completely different person than the one she had seen behind the bars of the prison cell. "It has been a while, hasn't it?"
"I-it's been two years," Ismene stammered from behind her hands.
"That is true," Simon said. "I hear Mr. Cory has made the decision to leave."
"He did," Ismene sighed, looking at the floor. "I tried to convince him not to, but he would have none of it. I'm afraid it is because of difference between him and Lysandra."
"Is that so?" Simon asked. "That is unfortunate. And speaking of Lysandra, I need to talk to her, alone. It is something I have not done sincerely since before my days in prison."
