Frey's statement made the jovial dining room silent. All eyes were on her when she made the announcement, Gwen and Martha's eyes opened wide. As for Edwin, the meat from his fork fell, whereas for Ivar, he spilled the juice on Cydrill's lap instead in her glass.

"D-daddy!"

"Oh, I'm sorry, princess!" Ivar apologized, putting the pitcher down as he got the table napkin and dabbed it on her skirt. "We'll change later; you're going to have a bath with mommy, anyway."

"Wh-what did you say?"

It was Arvid, Frey's husband, that broke the awkward silence and stillness of the dining room. With Frey looking worried as she was not expecting Arvid's reaction, she gulped and had a serious expression on her face.

"I'm pregnant…"
