Angeal put her burger down on the table before her and stood up, pointing at him accusingly. 

"You! How dare you suddenly disappear before me without saying a word? You're such a mean person for making me feel excited about going to eat outside. And then you…"

The people of the mansion listened and watched Angeal scold Devin. With them stifling their laughter as they found them cute for doing so, Devin just stood in front of her, smiling foolishly as he held something behind his back. 

"You—"

Before Angeal could continue, she noticed that there was something that the Soul Eater was keeping behind him. With her narrowing her eyes suspiciously, she asked about it. 

"What is that?"
