"Angeal… is she here?"

The worry on Devin's face had no intention to leave. With him being in front of Angeal's father, Leon, Devin realized that he hadn't greeted him properly, making him feel embarrassed as he now awkwardly greeted him.

"I'm sorry for coming here unannounced. Leon, good day."

Leon couldn't help but arch a brow at him. He then crossed his arms in front of his chest, remembering how he was a threat to Angeal's life and upon remembering what was told to him last night.

"Why are you here?" he asked, his voice rather sharp. "What do you want?"

"I—"

"Dad!"

Angeal called out from her opened room, interrupting Devin in her statement.

"Who is it!?"

"Just continue, Angeal!"

Leon immediately shouted back, not wanting to tell her that it was Devin.

"It's the colleague I told you about!"

"Oh, alright!"
