He felt his whole body getting cold, his fear taking a toll on his body when he heard what Devin said.

Remembering what they know about the curse of Devin, it is said that when he gets human souls by force, his life span would have to lessen as punishment.

The help that they were getting from Intervigilium is already helping them greatly! They also visit hospitals, Devin visiting personally with either Levin or Ivar to get the souls of the dying mortals to help satisfy his hunger.

He always hated the days they had to go to the hospital. Every time he would get their souls, he would always see their memories and feel the person's emotions.

But then again, he had no choice. He cannot rely on the Intervigilium all the time.
