Kapitel 166: When Shadows Attack

I slightly shake my head as I say "No, I will be on the front line. I will be fighting to keep everyone here safe and alive." My Mom cries out and falls to her knees but she doesn't release my hands. She cries and yells "No! You can't go out there! It's too dangerous!!" 

I grit my teeth, trying to remain calm as my Dad tries to calm my mother. I look up to Valen and say "You will help protect the City from within the walls... Be careful, please." He clenches his jaw and nods before saying "Of course!" 

When I hear the door behind me open, I turn and see Titus, Conner, and Troy walking in with their gear on. Titus gives me a knowing smile as he says "We could smell the beginning of a battle." I give them all a warm smile before nodding and saying "We can't do it without you guys."
