Kapitel 149: Hidden Truths

Flashes of death and birth come in and out before I'm left watching a bloody birth. I look to the woman with a deep frown before looking around for anyone else. A strong, tall male watches from a cave entrance but he offers no assistance to the poor woman. 

I blink and realize that I've overlooked something important. This... this isn't my world and these aren't my people. This is that other world... the one with no sun! I look back to the woman and see her straining to push the unborn child out. 

The male continues to watch but still doesn't step in to help. Why am I seeing this? The woman screams and with one last push, she pushes the newborn baby out. Just when I think it's over, she starts screaming again!
