Kapitel 130: Mine

I blink again, not knowing what to say. I slowly lift my right hand and look at it with a frown. Ever since the time I first died... I haven't been the same. Flashes of screams, blood, and fear come to mind as I run for my life, instantly causing my heart to race. 

I clench my fist and quickly shake my head and with it, those horrible broken memories. My hands slightly tremble as I try to push away my childhood horror. To be honest, I don't remember everything that happened at that time. It was too traumatic and horrific... My mind locked those memories away, unable to process them in a healthy manner at that age.

Thane's hand closes over my tightly clenched fist, bringing my shaking to a stop. I look up to find him watching me with those same black eyes but this time they were filled with concern and worry. He growls out "I can smell your fear, little bird. It's causing me to become restless. What's wrong?"
