Kapitel 378: Parasitic Demon Core, Activated - Part 2

As Kayla's queer eyes met those of the mysterious person, a strange feeling of uneasiness surged into their heart.

With nothing but a harmless smile on her face, Kayla extended both of her arms forward. With this gesture, she unleashed a small wave of silver Cyber Particles. Black circuit-like structures seemed to be strangely etched into the peculiar substance, as though displaying a painting from the future. 

Under Kayla's command, the wave of black and silver started rapidly growing into a gigantic tidal wave, enough to form a protective screen in front of her. And, with a push from her seemingly fragile palms, that still-rising tidal wave gushed forward, intercepting the otherworldly saber strike.

"Useless effort!" The mysterious person scoffed forcefully, partially trying to comfort themselves.
