Kapitel 3: Wounded
The light crunching of leaves, the smell of the dense foliage. The forest was peaceful but danger lurked everywhere. Even when you can't see danger, that dosent mean it's not there. Everything appeared peaceful but the malice in the air told them otherwise. The woman held her child close to her bosom, watching them sleep peacefully. The affection in the eyes of this couple was undisguisable! Blood splattered across the ground. The metal in the air was impossible to ignore.
The bloody air perpetrated all corners of the forest attracting beasts to the area! They were surrounded with no where to hide. The woman was weak from giving birth. Unable to muster any strength, the man scooped Athelia into his arms running away!
"Athelia! hold her tight I'll find a place we can all hide!" The man shouted as he ran through the forst! The man ran with all his strength, avoiding every beasts, seeming as if he had lived there for years! Athelia held the child close, being as gentle as she could. "Naga... I love you and Serenity with all my heart... Fate is so cruel sometimes..." Athelia whispered leaning closer to Naga as they ran through the forest.
"Athelia, just stay strong for me! The cave is right ahead!" Naga shouted as he ran to safety! Athelia closed her eyes as blood kept trickling down her legs. "Naga... No matter what happens I'll never regret the birth of this child. My sweet... sweet child..." Athelia murmured as Naga reached the cave! Placing Athelia on the soft bed, located at the back of the cave, he caresses her gently. "It appears this cave is still protected. Thank god... Athelia we're safe!!!" Naga exclaimed as he held his pale wife. He caressed her cold cheek, placing her back into the warm bed. Lifting the sleeping child into his arms, Naga takes Serenity from the arms of his wife. "I wont let you die here..." Naga said looking around the cave.
The cave was much more spacious then it appeared outside. This occurence was most likely due to the blessing that still resided there. The ground was littered with crafted bowls and broken objects. There was a small array of furniture this included: a table, fireplace, and the bed Athelia was laying within. Echos were prominent within the cave from the lack of furniture.
This cave was covered in a thick layer of dust. Sneezing would be a common occurrence in such a place. When looking closely you would see a small pile of medical herbs in the corner of the cave. The entrance to the cave was very closely located to this pile of herbs. Approaching the pile of herbs, Naga reaches down grabing a small plant with long bristles. He also takes a few other herbs, all pertaining to blood lose and a few for flesh wounds.
Taking the herbs to the only table within the cave, Naga placed them down. After placing Serenity in a safe spot he begins to craft a knife. With a few twigs, some vines, and a sharpen stone the knife was successfully crafted!
Moving back to the table with a Knife in hand. Naga starts to process the herbs! Turning some to a paste, boiling many in water, and other were grounded together to make a consumable mix. After successfully crafting the medicine of his people, he approaches his wife Athelia.
Naga brings the medicine to his wife's lips letting her drink slowly. This medicine helped greatly with the loss of blood! Her complexion slowly starts to regain color after consuming the medicine. Washing the blood off and cleaning the area. The treatment was finished for now. Letting the medicine take effect Naga leaves his wife to rest...
