After Eira had left, Hazel walked into the room again and found that Alex was still sleeping. Last night, Alex had tried so hard to resist the drug's effect and because of it, he had lost his energy. The moment he closed his eyes, Alex had drifted into sleep and only woke up in the middle of the night for a toilet break.
