After Kany and I spent the day exploring and enjoying the town, we returned home to the unnaturally silent building. Kery-san, along with the rest of Kany's family were nowhere to be seen.
I inhaled to speak, but Kany reached her hand out to interrupt me.
"They're downstairs. Don't bother them. Sparkles-san told them all to be on good behavior for a bit so that's what they're doing." She turned towards me and looked into my eyes as if to emphasize her last point.
"Let's not break that act of goodwill on their part by addressing them, okay?"
I silently nodded. The two of us proceeded to walk up the stairs, making an extra effort to avoid stepping on any boards that would creak to be as quiet as possible.
When we reached the intersection that led to Kany's attic access as well as my own room, Kany motioned upwards to indicate where she was going.
"I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" She whispered.
I wanted to explore Erana's mind a bit when she's not in the middle of a screwed up scenario. I feel like she's had the least amount of just casual thoughts floating through her head to explore, so I plan to explore that more.
The majority of this volume will be from either Erana or Kany's perspectives by the way.
Catch you on the flip side!
