With the transfer almost complete, she spoke to Aranea once more, a tear falling on Irving's face as she planted a kiss on his forehead.

"My heart is really settled and assured that he'd do well in the future. If you weren't here in the past with me, I would have been devastated and be worried about him after I'm gone. Thank you for telling me, Aranea, that Irving will be okay with you and the others in your time."

Aranea understood what she meant.

In the past, Miranda was all alone doing the transfer for who knows how long. Who knows what she could've thought as she did it for Irving's sake.

She may really worry about Irving in the future—what he's going to do and how his safety is going to be.
