The goddess was unsettled. The sound of her rhythmic pacing echoed lightly through the dimly lit room, her shadow growing and shrinking in size as she strutted past the flickering candle repeatedly. The food on the table was untouched, developing a cold film over the clear soup.
'Can you stop pacing? It's making me dizzy.' The Dam Sehlah's voice pushed through her chaotic thoughts.
A wisp of a sound like a sigh emerged from her mind as it diverted her attention toward her dinner. She watched the cold contents of the ceramic bowl with a frown. Her stomach growled in response. She was definitely hungry, yet the thought of eating anything at all was quite unappealing to her at the moment, Luna thought, her eyes scanning the floating vegetables and shreds of chicken in the bowl.
'At least give me a taste of that chicken soup.' The stone pleaded hungrily.
