Luna swept her hand through the disappearing strands of moonlight that passed through the parted curtains. They were fragile to the touch, though there were not many things stronger than them, on earth or in the spiritual realm.
The knowledge that she was the only one apart from the time god who could tear through their silken strands bothered her more than ever. It made her impatient. Taking him away was just a matter of a snap of her fingers, she thought, the magic buzzing through her body making her excited.
Suddenly she felt him shift, his arm sliding into her waist as he pulled her close to his chest unconsciously.
"You can't leave me," Liam murmured against her hair. "I will mark you as mine. You can't.."
