Kapitel 159: Chapter 159: Hands off

Elize had her head deep inside a book when she heard the noises outside. Lloyd had rushed out of the house only ten minutes ago. He hadn't said anything about it and had left her curious. The Kelpie had stayed up all night with her, listening to her talk about the prophecy.

Together they pondered upon its meaning but without any luck. Shortly afterward, the prince had disappeared for a while and had come back with a bunch of ancient-looking books. 

The two of them had gone through the books without sleep since then in hopes of finding some clue. Since Elize couldn't read the elven language, and all the books were written in it, she could only help his research by looking through the pictures in the hope of finding something. So when she heard the loud noises come from outside the house, the sleep-deprived Elize was more than annoyed. She got up from her seat and walked towards the door in anger.
