It's a great novel and I'd love to give a 5 stars rating, but update is not stable. Back to novel..... It's a Perfect combination of romance, revenge, smut and power. I love how Loyal The ML is, though it's kinda unhealthy obsession, He never cages the FL. Another thing that I love is how the broken FL has risen to power like a true phoenix. I'm waiting for their future. BTW, it's underworld related, not like some prince in shining armor protecting his princess, but like evil god loving a powerful godess, who is obviously not a symbol of purity. But they have their principles. So you can try.

i honestly love this story but the author seems to like to torture the readers coz she's only updating once a week. i want to give it a 1 star for the update speed but since i like it so much, I'll give it a five in everything. the story honestly sounds cliché but is still unique in its own way. ii ove this story coz ii see a soul living in it, unlike some story that is written because the genre is famous and the execution is really bad. i can't really criticized this story that much since i am deeply mesmerized by it. ps. pls author-sama, pls update more chapters 🙏🙏

okay trying not to give spoilers here, but thank you author for giving a ml that can communicate and respect the fl feelings. there is no rape hallelujah!! he is a gentlemen that will wait for consent even if he is want to get it on, but if our fl is not comfortable he will not cross the line. thank you author for making a ml actually tell the fl early on that they know each other. I hate how a ml in other novels will 500 chapters still have this adoration for the fl , the fl will be clueless on y the guy likes her, she would wonder sometimes even ask the ml but he wouldnt answer the f*in question. it was so satisfying having our ml answer our fl doubts. did I mention how I love how even though hes a bit forceful in his actions to get close it barely hits the line where its not too extreme, he can regard the fl apprehension and closed feelings and he honours her houghts and feelings when she doesnt want to discuss a topic. oh how other ml leads need to emulate alexander. i love how alexander is honest, like when they talk about the background check, he was upfront and that was a breath of fresh air. basically anyone that reads this know that if you wanna read a ml that is strong boss, honest, and respecful and is dominating but not forceful check this book out. you will feel refreshed in some aspects of our ships interactions. we have a book with actually communication and how they are trying to become close. also the fl was naive in the beginning leading her to her troubles but she wised up and is very strong character.

There are a lot of plot twists in this story, and you can not take any the characters say at there word. The main couples relationship is not easy, the ml is somewhat socially awkward and possessive when it comes to FL and she is to paranoid to let anyone get close to her in fear of getting hurt her again. I started with The birth of a Villainess and tought I should check the author's other novel out, which is this one. I'm glad that I did cause I was instantly hooked. No major misunderstandings (those can be annoying) and it develops in a steady pace. Only sad that both novels don't update as frequently as I would like.. but that's it. Keep up the good work author!
