After drinking the soup, Matthew Hayez instantly felt energised. His headache and fever had subsided a little and he didn't feel dizzy anymore. He rested in bed for a while, with his phone in hand, he started sending a few messages.

After an hour, he looked at the clock in his bedroom and got down from the bed. He went inside and took a hot shower and changed out of his clothes into warmer ones before he picked the tray with the bowl and went out of the room.

At the hall, he saw that the fire was almost out and Willow was curled up into a ball on the couch, sleeping.

''It's so cold. How could you sleep here?'' he placed the tray on the table and walked up to her. when he looked at her head wrapped up with a gauze, he sighed and squatted in front of her, ''you got hurt because of me. I'm sorry for losing your hand at that moment. Next time, I will catch you when you fall no matter the situation''
