Kapitel 43: Chapter 41: Answers
Time slowed as Ark gulped on the non existent saliva in his throat. His mouth was dry and his heart was beating just as rapidly as it was when he was having his first time with Jenny. This moment is arguably just as important as that whole night as it determined both Arks and Jenny's future interactions with each other.
The two sat in silence as the tensions grew.
"I have already decided"
Jenny spoke in an emotionless voice as she stared at Ark. Her eyes never wavered, they remained stuck on him.
"Before that, I want to say some things. Next time, make sure you tell a girl all of this first. Some may not be as understanding as me, if this had gone sour, you could have needed up having to walk back to Pewter"
Ark nodded with a serious expression, he knew she was correct with what she said. Not only had they consummated their feelings together, they had also lowered all of each others barriers. If a girl did not like Arks harem idea, she would have freaked out and he wouldn't be able to do anything about it.
"Secondly, your dream is really weird, I respect it but you will surely face quite a lot of resistance from many different groups in the future"
Jenny's emotionless voice made these facts even more impactful as Ark nodded solemnly. He knew it would not be easy, but as shown, he needed to start thinking a bit more about it. He currently had an amazing ability like 'Sage Mind', yet he was not using it to its full potential.
"Now that my points are across, I will give you my answer"
Throughout the whole conversation, Jenny had not shown any inkling as to what her decision could be. In fact, Ark had started to brace himself for rejection.
"I accept your dream, I will be a part of it, but I will not allow you to forget or neglect me in the future"
Her serious expression morphed into one of love and passion. It was clear that Jenny intended to stick by Ark in the future. Overcome with emotion, Ark leapt at Jenny and kissed her passionately on the lips. Their hands roamed over each others bodies, never staying in one place. Their breaths turned heated.
Unfortunately, Jenny separated from Ark with a mischevious smile.
"Sorry~ Not right now, we have to pick up and get going"
A pained expression sat upon Arks face as he reluctantly nodded and stood up.
The two spent the next hour packing up their stuff and loading it into the car. Ark noticed that he had receive a no6tification from the system, but he decided to have a look when he was alone. There was always the slight chance that it would require him to go unconscious again, he wasn't looking to cause a commotion.
"Right, have we got everything?"
Jenny asked Ark as she closed the backdoor to the vehicle.
"Yeah we should have, and more"
As Ark spoke, he looked down at the Pokeball of his new team member. As soon as the sun rose tomorrow, Ark resolved himself to train Sylph and Shellder so that their potential isn't wasted. Plus Ark wanted to see what his new Shellder was made of since it held off against that Seaking for so long.
"Then let's get going, back to Pewter. I have quite a bit of work to finish and you have to train so I'll try to make the journey as short as possible"
He nodded at Jenny's consideration, although deep down he wanted to spend more alone time with Jenny, he knew that if he didn't start getting serious now, he never would.
With last look back at the cabin, the car drove away in the direction of Pewter.
Their car ride was pretty uneventful, unlike before, the two were more intimate and spent most of the time getting to know each other even deeper as they created their very own pink world. Dismounting from the vehicle, Ark closed the door behind him and quickly rushed to Jenny's side. He opened the door for her in an exaggerated fashion, to which she giggled and played along. Curious stares from interested onlookers pierced into their bodies as they ignored the small crowd they had attracted.
"We should separate now, we won't see each other for a few days since I want to get all of the built up work out of the way"
Ark agreed without any more hesitation. This arrangement worked out as it gave him some time to purely focus on training and not have a ravishing beauty to distract him.
"That's fine. I have a lot of training to do so it will help me too. However I have one condition otherwise I will turn up to your office everyday and lounge around"
Jenny rolled her eyes at Arks words. She knew he wouldn't do it but she wasn't put out by listening to his conditions.
"I would like you to come and watch my first ever gym battle"
Jenny's eyes widened as she heard Arks request. Originally, she thought it would be a perverted request but when she saw Arks hopeful gaze, her heart melted.
Without care for the onlookers, Jenny stepped forward, wrapped her arms around Arks neck and placed her lips on top of his. It was a passionate kiss that didn't involve tongue, but it lasted for several seconds before they separated and restarted. After about a minute of that cycle, Jenny stepped away and smiled brightly at him.
"Of course I will. It's the true first step of your gym challenge so I would not miss it"
Ark hugged Jenny's body one last time before turning around and walking away from the gobsmacked crowd towards the Pokémon Center.
Ark took out his Pokeballs, and handed them straight over to Nurse Joy. The two had used up a lot of energy over the past few days so he decided it was best to leave them with Nurse Joy overnight and pick them up for morning training. Nurse Joy smiled and promised the best treatment for him as she saw the love and concern in his voice.
Once that was all settled, Ark went up to his new room and locked the door. Compared to the cabin and home, this room was really lonely. Shaking his head, Ark removed all irrelevant thoughts and focused on the notification from earlier.
