He put down his phone and crossed his arms together, "You are already on your mother-in-law's side?" 

Gu Yechen picked up a scarf and wrapped it around He Xinyan's neck. Then, he gently pinched both sides of her cheeks.

"Mother-in-law?! Stop overthinking! Plus, Auntie Xu isn't only your mother! She is also my friend. I can't let you treat her so disrespectfully like that!"
