Kapitel 120: Dawn of War

"My lord, The Grand Cleric of Archibenn has already ordered holy marches on 10 other fiefs… We will be next. What are your orders…?"

In the northern nation of Alvarra, a particular lord was handling critical affairs to his territory's survival. As of just a week ago, the land had been at war with the Holy Nation. Multiple cities had fallen and many had sworn loyalty to the enemy.

The sky was darkening and time was running out. The fate of his subjects lay on his hands like a platter of grapes. Too much was at stake to just breath. He needed to handle this or lose it all.

"Sergeis, order all of the fief's soldiers to stand down. We will submit to the Hoy Nation." 

The lord slouched over onto the desk, elbows bent and hands pressed against his forehead. There was no hope for him to fend off against a full scale invasion like this.

Treachery may be a sin but letting one's subjects die is a much greater one.
