Kapitel 333: EPISODE 3: What a Shock!*
Bored, the twins went to the basement to gather some of their weird electrical devices. Surprisingly, Fortuna is fine with them handling things that could either zap them or worse, kill them. But who cares? Prodigies are prodigies and they can probably handle those since they're talented when it comes to those type of stuff.
"Look Grace, why are all the luggage opened?" Faith asked upon opening the doors of the dark basement.
"Even ours is open. Perhaps someone was here. Let's take a closer look." suggested, Grace as she pulled the hand of her sister and dashed around the basement.
The only thing they noticed was a woman tied up in a chair who fell asleep. Zinnia got bored of smelling the cardboard sent of the basement which made her drowsy and sleepy. The twins, rambunctious and naughty, thought of an evil scheme while laughing hysterically.
"Boo!" from behind, they surprised Zinnia. Zinnia was awakened because of the startle brought by the naughty twins.
"Hi there. Are you a thief?" Faith asked while cuddling her Plusle tightly.
"I didn't intend to steal anything. I got hungry so, yeah. Wait a minute, don't tell me the two of you are members of Team Rocket."
"Yes we are. I am Grace, and this is my sister Faith. I know, can you be our test subject?"
"Wait what?"
"Well you see, we're working on a project and all we want to do is to inject something on you. That's all. Don't worry, you won't die." Faith said with her baby doll eyes. Zinnia was unsure of the behavior and demeanor of these little children.
She thought they were just playing around with her, to give her accompany while the ship travels to the Sinnoh Region. However, she thought wrong, and had no idea what the twins were actually talking about. In happy smile, Zinnia decided to play along with the fun games and nodded her head.
"We'll be injecting you with Arsine to see if it does really poison people. If it works, then this project of ours is a success and soon, our enemies we'll kneel before us!" said, Faith.
"Kneel before me! Ha! Ha! That's what mother always said to father." added, Grace.
"Arsine? You guys are kidding right?!" Zinnia began to panic, wishing she never agreed to play with these games while seeing the twins extract a bottle of Arsine, transferring it into the syringe.
"Hey, hey, don't you inject that on me!" Zinnia demanded.
"We're just joking, we're not going to inject you with poison." chuckled, the adorable Faith with her Plusle.
"Then what's that inside the syringe?!"
"800ml of dopamine." Grace answered and injected the Lore Keeper with a chemical. It made Zinnia sleep in a matter of ten seconds and the twins were proud of their actions.
"It worked! The sleeping pill worked." Faith jumped with enthusiasm.
"Sadly we're not the first who invented it." though the other was enthusiastic, the other was disappointed.
"At least we have a sleeping test subject. I know what we can do to her, Grace!"
"What are you suggesting?"
"Hehe, let's have some fun."
Secretly, while Zinnia was sleeping, the twins did a bit of their electrical talent and plugged in some sort of large metallic bowl to cover Zinnia's hair. They then took out wires and two coils. The coils were attached at the opposite sides of the bowl and tied upon that bowl were the wires.
At the end of the wires, all the twins needed to do was to tie the end to a battery in which they did. Then comes the electrifying shock which traveled through the wires, into the coil, then two the metallic bowl, electrocuting Zinnia's hair. Because of being electrocuted, Zinnia jerked and woke up while the twins laugh.
"It worked again." Faith chuckled as she unbuckled the bowl off of Zinnia's hair.
"What on Earth did you do to me this time?!" Zinnia scolded the two of them.
"Take a look." Grace uttered and gave a mirror to Zinnia. Through the the mirror did Zinnia see her hair all standing up straight.
"You're welcome, now you look like the sun." Faith teased, making her sister laugh.
"Humph!" Zinnia pouted at the two of them but when she could no longer handle it, her mouth trembled, spitting out laughter. Even the victim was laughing at the result of the experiments of the culprits. Her hair looked funny, strange, and made Zinnia look like a Solrock.
Laughing out loud, it disturbed Copper's rest and thus he decided to check the basement. Upon arrival, he saw Zinnia and her funky hair, and the two naughty twins grooming it. They all looked to him with a stare.
"I'm just going to leave." Copper uttered and dashed back up the stairs and into his room. He covered his head with a pillow as he tried to forget the thing he had just seen. For a few hours more, before the ship arrived to Sinnoh, the twins spent some time with the thief.
Whatever organization, there is always joy in a youth's heart. That joy can be spread to others like how the twins spread it to Zinnia. Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering, these twins surely has tricks up their sleeves and I'm glad to see it in action when our first mission is received.
Lunch just finished, I ate inside my room with Charlotte. The twins once more saved the day, serving me a bowl of hot soup for my fever. It made me feel better and excited, especially when I heard the horns of the ship blow once more. I can hear people talking outside the window and the breeze just got colder.
Birds in the sky, Sun shining bright, this is the start of my journey in Sinnoh. I thought I would be seeing trees of green today but it turns out, our warehouse is somewhere in a winter wonderland. Snowpoint City, the city of snow. Snow, a word that makes my blood run cold. All my times with snow ended up bad.
And just as promised, we let the thief run free, promising to meet me again one day. According to Zinnia, it was really an intention of her's to go to this region for some objectives that she needed to finish but once we meet again, it'll be a battle for sure.
"Achoo!" I sneezed, even with my scarf and woolly jacket. The weather here is very cold and the snow seems to tickle my nose.
