Kapitel 255: Sealed Corrupted Dragon

The daemons were protected by the Barrier of the Gods. It was a layer of light from the heavens keeping them from most of harm's way that was why they could retain their sanity, consciousness, and now be burnt to a crisp in the presence of the Beast of Penance.

 But the Barrier of the Gods had a limit. Just like how divinity could not bring Lilith beyond lv. 1500, a certain degree of damage could result in the death of the daemons. Without even thinking about it, Lilith made her move. 

Lilith always believed she was detached. That she saw the Ogres and the other daemons in her village to be beings to be used. Even if they had gotten so much closer, she had viewed their reverence as another tool to tie their beliefs in her. 

To make them subservient so that even when they doubt her abilities and decisions. She could have them walk in a firestorm.
